My journey started as an engineering intern at Parks Canada, where I expanded my role to include drone piloting along the Trent Severn Waterway — documenting all 45 Locks as part of a national initiative in response to the Jasper wildfires. Varying terrain, dense woodland, and remote access points made every location its own challenge, and those experiences sharpened my skills in ways a controlled environment never could.
